Normal distribution Applet

This applet shows the normal or gaussian distribution. The distribution has two parameters, the mean and the standard deviation. The mean of the normal distribution is often denoted by the greek symbol m , and s is the standard deviation of normal distribution. The standard deviation is a measure of spread of the distribution, and the mean is a measure of central tendency. The standard deviation is always a positive number, whereas the mean can also assume negative values. Click the draw button after filling in new values for the mean and the standard deviation to obtain a new diagram of the normal distribution.
